Advanced Retreats
Retreats offer the opportunity to gain a deeper experience of meditation than in daily life. On retreat we withdraw from our usual routine and structure our time and conditions so that we can get the most out of our meditation.
These particular retreats give the chance to explore particular practices in depth. They are suitable for those with some existing experience of meditation and are unguided. Explanation of the practices can be give before sessions if you are new to them.

Meditation is a powerful technique for developing a peaceful mind and inner good qualities. The meditation workshops provide quality meditation with clear explanations of the skills required to create stillness within, but are shorter and lighter than our day courses.

Day courses are an ideal way to learn more about meditation and inner peace. Each course examines a particular aspect of Buddha’s teachings in greater depth than would be possible during an evening class. Particular attention is paid to how meditation can be used in practice especially in solving problems in our daily life.
Solve daily problems, develop peace of mind, improve your health and find meaning & purpose in life. Classes include guided meditations and explanation of how to meditate and practise in daily life. They are run on a drop-in basis so you can join at any stage.
Retreats are an opportunity to take time out from a busy lifestyle to focus on our meditation practice. This will allow us to gain a deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings that we have gained though our study and daily practice.
The chanted prayers at Buddha Land Centre are a chance to help bring peace to this world though prayer and meditation.
