Buddha Land is entirely run by volunteers for the benefit of the community. Volunteering at the centre is an ideal way to gain experience of cherishing others and brings many benefits both to individuals and society. Through serving others, we gain genuine experience of the teachings and insight into their deeper meaning.
There are a wide range of voluntary opportunities available from helping out on an adhoc basis to taking a regular role in the running of the centre. All sorts of skills are required whether practical DIY skills, office roles or working in the World Peace Café. Areas covered also include reception, cleaning, making cakes, applying for grants, making publicity for classes and courses or distributing it. What ever your area of skills or experience, if you have an interest in helping out, drop us an email and we can let you know more.
