General Programme Meditation Classes
The evening classes in Grassington teach simple, practical methods to improve the quality of your life and gain inner peace though meditation. They are a great way to learn to meditate, to improve your meditation practice, or to learn new meditation techniques. Through meditation we can learn to relax, let go of our daily concerns and develop a fresh and positive outlook.
These classes all include guided meditations and explanations on how to practice and apply meditation. Everyone is welcome, no previous experience of meditation is needed. These classes are self contained, so you can attend individual classes.
The classes in Grassington are taught by Western Buddhist monk Kelsang Thonchog, a student of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley.
Wednesday Evenings 7.30 – 9.00pm
Cost: £6 per class
Face to face classes have been temporarily suspended in Grassington, we do intend to run them again at our regular venues when the coronavirus emergency is over. However, we do still wish to be able to deliver Buddhist teachings on how to maintain inner peace, compassion and clarity of mind during these very difficult times.
We have taken the decision that our classes will now, temporarily, take place online. We intend to run the same classes at the same times and show them live online, with some live interaction possible with the teachers. Those wishing to be involved do need to book, via the link below, so that the connections can be set up. The cost per class will be the same as for the face to face classes.
