Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre is a peaceful and inspiring place where people from all walks of life can learn to meditate, gain practical understanding of Buddhism and bring about positive change in their lives.
Classes, courses, and workshops take place in the centre.
We have a small Fairtrade café and shop where you can enjoy a soft drink or a cup of tea or coffee from our wide selection. We also serve cakes, biscuits and snacks. You are very welcome to drop in!
The café is a warm and welcoming place, open for everyone to attend. You can just sit quietly and take the weight off your feet or, if you want to find out more about meditation, you can talk with someone who is already using it and find out how it helps them in their daily life.
The café and shop are open Wednesdays 10am – 2pm.
Helping Out
As a voluntary organization, we rely upon the energetic support from members who form part of the wider community. This local community is a vital part of every activity so there are plenty of opportunities to lend a helping hand. Please contact us if you are interested.
