Weekly Meditation Classes

Solve daily problems, develop peace of mind, improve your health and find meaning & purpose in life. Classes include guided meditations and explanation of how to meditate and practise in daily life. They are run on a drop-in basis so you can join at any stage.

Classes are suitable for complete beginners, those with some experience of meditation and more advanced meditators wishing to go deeper with their practice.

Tuesdays 12.30pm – 12.45pm

These short meditation classes held in person at Buddha Land offer simple guided meditations to help us gain personal experience of inner peace. The meditations help us to relax, let go of our daily concerns, and develop a fresh and positive outlook.

Though we wish to be happy and free from suffering, we encounter many problems and difficulties and so any experience of happiness that we have is short lived. Buddha taught that permanent health & happiness is possible only by developing internal good qualities.

By training in using mindfulness and meditation  we can begin to manage and control our emotions such as stress, anxiety and fear.
