The Walks for World Peace combine walking and meditation, giving an opportunity to meet like minded people from the various meditation groups run by Buddha Land. Walks typically last up to 3hrs including a break for meditation and lunch. On route there is a simple guided meditation that is suitable for beginners and those experience in meditation alike.

Yorkshire Dales walk – Rylstone and Cracoe
Meeting at Rhylstone on the B6265 between Skipton and Grassington. The walk will begin and end at Rylstone mill pond (parking is available in the layby after the pond). We will climb out of the village on to Barden Moor and Rylstone Cross with its spectacular views (weather permitting) of the Southern Dales and Pendle. The ridge leads along to Cracoe Memorial where we will drop down to Cracoe in the valley below. A bridleway will return us to Rylstone. It’s a fantastic walk and one to look forward to.
The walk is about 6 miles and includes a section of steep climb out of the valley and similar descent. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed in the Barden Moor access area.
Everyone is welcome. On route, there will be a guided meditation to enjoy. Please bring your own packed lunch and weather appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for all walking conditions.
