How Not To Take Things Personally
Meditation Workshop
@ Buddha Land KMC, Keighley
Sunday 8 November, 10am – 1pm
In-person & Livestream
Join us for a practical course on how not to take other people’s behaviour personally so we can be at peace with ourselves and others.
Find out how we can free ourselves from feelings of hurt and rejection, and create inner peace in our hearts, by combining Buddha’s teachings on wisdom and patience.
Drawing on Buddha’s insight into the nature of the self, we explore how loosening our fixed sense of “me” and “mine” can help us respond to difficulties with far more space, flexibility, and ease.
As this understanding grows, we begin to notice a real shift: situations that once felt heavy or confrontational start to feel more workable. Instead of escalating into conflict, they become opportunities to practise patience, to soften our reactions, and to grow in emotional freedom.
This course offers a gentle but powerful way to transform how we relate to challenges in everyday life—improving not only our peace of mind, but the quality of our relationships as a whole.
Suitable for everyone, both beginners and those wishing to improve their meditation practice
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Café during the course.
The cost of the workshop is £16 (Monthly Members £5, FP Monthly Members £0).
Our monthly membership programme offers access to all our weekly classes as well as discounts on courses for only £20 per month – Learn more.
