Barnoldwick to Burnley
Sunday 7 July – meeting at 9am at Greenberfield Locks
Both the Burnely and Keighley Centres are requiring significant works to keep them functioning.
Brunside Mill has been a great addition, offering an oasis of peace in the centre of Burnley. It has proved to be a very popular location with its beautiful meditation rooms. To make the centre more comfortable we have fitted central heating and are raising funds to cover its costs. While the Centre in Keighley needs ongoing work on its listed building, this year repairing and maintaining guttering and stonework.
Meeting at car park in Greenberfield Locks, Barnoldswick at 9am, we’ll then follow the canal path through beautiful countryside via Salterforth and Fouldridge, which at 5miles will be the half way point. We will then return along the canal to Greenberfield.
