A meditation retreat inspired by Geshe Langri Tangpa’s Eight Verses of Training the Mind cultivates compassion, humility, and resilience through guided practice and reflection.


Step back and take a day out of busy life to focus on inner peace and inner development with a retreat at Bolton Abbey and our other retreat locations. Bolton Abbey is the ideal setting to do this, with space to unwind and relax between retreat sessions in the beautiful landscape of the Yorkshire Dales.
Retreats are an opportunity to take time out from a busy lifestyle to focus on our meditation practice. This will allow us to gain a deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings that we have gained though our study and daily practice.
