Walk for World Peace
Skipton Woods
Sunday 8 February, 2pm
Enjoy a walk with like minded people, with a guided meditation on-route.
Walk details:
Starting from the Coach Street car park in Skipton the walk runs along the canal and behind Skipton Castle before entering Skipton Woods. The Wood Land Trust describes the trail through Skipton Woods as: ‘A pleasant, family friendly stroll from the main entrance along Eller Beck, ending at the Great Flood Bridge. This walk is great for spotting birdlife by the water, including ducks, kingfishers, wagtails and dippers. Retrace your steps to exit.’ The walk is generally flat and is a maximum of 2 miles. We will stop for a guided meditation on route.
Meeting point:
Meeting just before 2pm outside the entrance to The Coffee House, in the Coach Street Car Park Skipton. See google maps location https://maps.app.goo.gl/Ezk9qzUnJNeeuNDL8

The Walks for World Peace are an informal group facilitated by the centre. The centre does not have leaders who are are formally qualified/trained to lead walks or in first aid. As such we can point out a suggested route but it is for each individual to determine if it is suitable for themselves and each person needs to take responsiblity for their own safety and wellbeing during the walk.
