The Path Less Travelled, Finding Deep Meaning in the Modern World
Post Spring Festival Guided Day Retreat with Gen Kelsang Chitta
In person* at Buddha Land and Livestream
Saturday 5 June, 9.30am – 3.30pm
(available for 48 hours after on catch up)
This Day Retreat is perfect for those who were not able to attend the Spring Festival but who would like to hear commentary to, and gain experience of, the teachings. It is equally suitable for those who did attend and who would like the opportunity to take these teachings deeper into our hearts & mix our mind with them.
All Buddha Shakyamuni’s teachings of Sutra and Tantra are designed to touch our heart and transform our mind into authentic wisdom, love, compassion and other spiritual realisations. There is no greater meaning to be found in our life than this.
Each year the International Kadampa Buddhist community gathers at the NKT Spring Festival to receive teachings and guidance from Senior Teachers. During the NKT Spring Festival this year, there was commentary to the sublime prayer entitled Request to the Lord of All Lineages. This prayer contains all Buddha Shakyamuni’s teachings of Sutra and Tantra.
We are delighted to welcome online Gen Kelsang Chitta from Potala Centre in Belfast who will guide a Day Retreat on these teachings and give commentary to the prayer.
For everyone, this retreat will be a powerful method to strengthen our practice and to improve the quality of our mind and our actions.
There is no more meaningful way to spend the day. Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche says, “There is no greater meaning than engaging in this practice.”
The cost of the day retreat is £18 (Monthly Members £5; FP Members £5).
