Reflections on Living and Dying – Powa Practice
Half Day Course
@ Buddha Land KMC, Keighley
Saturday 18 November, 10am – 1pm
In-person & Livestream
Explore Buddhist perspectives on life and death. Learn how to help those who are approaching death and those who have passed away. With visiting teacher Gen Dema, Resident Teacher of Uma KMC.
From a Buddhist perspective, death is just as much a beginning as it is an ending. By exploring the process of death and rebirth we can come to understand this inevitable part of life. This understanding will bring great meaning and joy into our own life and give us the skills to help those who are dying.
What does our death mean? What happens after we die? Why does our life turn out the way it does and what can we do about it? In this half day course, discover Buddha’s simple and profound answers to life’s deepest questions. Learn how we can use this knowledge to solve our problems and find a peaceful, happy, and meaningful life.
Our meditation courses are a perfect way to both relax and develop internally. This course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced meditators.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Café during the course.
The cost of the Meditation Half Day Course is £15 (Monthly Members £5, FP Monthly Members £0).
