Realised Masters of Meditation Refuge Retreat
@ Buddha Land KMC, Keighley
Sat 18 February, 9.30am – 3.30pm
The practice of going for Refuge is the basis for the Buddhist Path to liberation and enlightenment. It’s a doorway that allows us to experience lasting inner peace and lead others to the same state.
Going for refuge means to develop trust and reliance on Buddha, his teachings, the Dharma, and Sangha, the supreme spiritual friends. Together these are the Three Precious Jewels of Buddhism. In this special day retreat we will learn the practice of Refuge in three guided sessions. This will be followed by the option of two days of unguided retreat.
The sessions will be guided by Gen Kelsang Päljin, Resident Teacher of Buddha Land and Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centres, who is appreciated for offering clear guidance on meditation and living an exemplary, positive life.
9.30am – 10.45am – Session 1 guided meditation
