Overcoming Stress and Anxiety
Meditation Workshop
@ Burnley KBC
Saturday 28 October, 10am – 1pm
In-person & Livestream
Explore effective meditations and positive approaches to overcome stress and anxiety. Learn easy to follow techniques that will allow you to reduce and abandon these unpeaceful minds.
With so much uncertainty in our worlds it is easy to become agitated. Anxiety, in particular, can become part of our daily experience. However, innovative methods exist for reducing its strength and power over us.
Buddha taught meditations for letting go of stress and anxiety, helping us to cope better in the moment and to make changes that can last our whole lives. During this course we will look particularly at the tendency to overthink and how we can step back from this and find greater peace in the moment.
Our workshops are a perfect way to both relax and develop internally. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Café during the course.
The cost of the Meditation Workshop is £15 (Monthly Members £5, FP Monthly Members £0).
Our monthly membership programme offers access to all our weekly classes as well as discounts on courses for only £20 per month – Learn more.

The course will be taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin, who is appreciated for offering clear guidance on meditation and living an exemplary, positive life.
