No Greater Meaning
Spring Festival, livestream from Manjushri Centre, with Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab
Buddha Shakyamuni Empowerment & Commentary to ‘Request to the Lord of All Lineages’
In person* at Buddha Land and Livestream
7.30pm Friday 28 May – 1pm Wednesday 2 June
Attend Spring Festival with other members of your local community by joining our viewing at Buddha Land Meditation Centre, Keighley.
All Buddha Shakyamuni’s teachings of Sutra and Tantra are designed to touch our heart and transform our mind into authentic wisdom, love, compassion and other spiritual realisations. There is no greater meaning to be found in our life than this.
Each year the International Kadampa Buddhist community gathers at the NKT Spring Festival to receive teachings and guidance from Senior Teachers. This year’s NKT Spring Festival includes the Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni, and commentary to the sublime prayer, ‘Request to the Lord of All Lineages’, which contains all Buddha Shakyamuni’s teachings of Sutra and Tantra.
We are offering those who wish to come together in Keighley the opportunity to watch Spring Festival in our Meditation Room. In this way, we can benefit from listening to, contemplating, and meditating on Buddha’s teachings in a group, while also having the “front row” experience afforded by online transmission.
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche says, “There is no greater meaning than engaging in this practice.”
The retreat is livestream from Manjushri Centre (in the Lake District) and individuals wishing to attend should pay directly (Buddha Land Centre is unable to process your payment). The festival costs £100. Having paid for the various events included within the festival, you are most welcome to attend all or any of the sessions at Buddha Land Meditation Centre, Keighley – but please let us know in advance.
