Living Fearlessly
Meditation Workshop
@ Burnley KBC
Saturday 11 November, 10am – 1pm
In-person & Livestream
Fear and anxiety are common reactions in uncomfortable situations. By gaining control over negative and unhelpful states of mind we can be free from these reactions and become truly liberated from all fears.
We have so many fears these days: fears for ourselves, fears for our family and friends, and fears for our world. Sometimes these fears are manifest and sometimes they are beneath the surface, giving rise to anxiety and insecurity. Instead of hiding from fear, burying it or pretending it’s not there, we need to begin to understand what we are dealing with. Many of our present fears are rooted in what Buddha identified as “delusions” – distorted, wrong, and harmful ways of looking at ourselves and the world around us.
In this workshop we will practise meditations which help us to understand, reduce and eventually eliminate the delusions which are the actual source of all our fears. Our workshops are a perfect way to both relax and develop internally. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
