Visualisation and Symbolism.
Half Day Course
Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre
Saturday 4 May, 10am – 1pm
Learn to recognise and understand some of the symbols and meanings portrayed in Buddhist art and how we can use them in meditation to transform our experience.
Buddhist art is both beautiful and meaningful. These ancient images contain many hidden meanings which reveal spiritual turnings practiced over millenia that lead to full enlightenment.
The cost of the half day course is £12.50 (GP Centre Card £5). Refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafe during the course.
This course will be taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin the Resident Teacher of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre and of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley. He is a Buddhist monk with over 18 years’ experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism.
