In person @ Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre and livestream
Saturday 17 July, 10am – 1pm
(available for 48 hours after on catch up)
During this course we will learn various meditations and practices that will help us to accept, minimise, and see beyond our pain. We will learn to transform these painful experiences into opportunities to gain spiritual insights, and develop inner strength.
Dealing with physical or emotional pain can be draining and discouraging. Although we cannot always change our physical conditions, we can learn to change how we react to it. The intensity of pain can be reduced by focusing on it in ways that are conducive to inner peace.
Day Courses are an ideal way to learn more about meditation and inner peace. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
Anyone can attend this meditation event; it is suitable for complete beginners and those with experience. Everyone is welcome.
The cost is £15 (£5 for Monthly Members).
This morning course will be taught by Helen Richardson, the Education Programme Co-ordinator of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley, and a student of the Teacher Training Programme at Buddha Land Buddhist Centre.
