Take a New Direction
Half Day Course
Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre
Saturday 25 Jan, 10am – 1pm
Our human life is precious and rare, passing moment by moment. Take time out to explore the meaning of life & make positive changes for real happiness.
The new year is a symbol of possibility. Many of us wish to make changes and for our lives to go in a better direction, but for that to happen we need to connect with the potential that exists within our minds. Meditation gives us the ability to become the person we wish to be: calmer, more dynamic and confident, happier, kinder, more loving.
This course will include guided meditations, which will help you to develop a peaceful and positive mind so that your year is fulfilling and meaningful. Day Courses are an ideal way to learn more about meditation and inner peace. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
The cost of the half day course is £12.50 (GP Centre Card £5). Refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafe during the course.
This course will be taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin the Resident Teacher of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre and of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley. He is a Buddhist monk with over 20 years’ experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism.
