Peace of Mind through Meditation
In Person @ Buddha Land & Livestreamed Online
Saturday 3rd July, 10am – 1pm
(available for 48 hours after on catch up)
More than ever we need methods to create peace of mind and inner happiness. Discover the essential techniques of meditation with this short workshop, and find greater focus, balance and peace in life.
Meditation is increasingly recognized as an effective means to reduce stress and improve quality of life. It also has much deeper and far-reaching benefits that have been understood by Buddhist practitioners over thousands of years. During this morning course, you will be guided by an experienced practitioner through simple meditations that you can reproduce at home. You will learn how to improve your mindfulness and concentration, as well as how to begin meditating regularly. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on how to improve your meditation practice.
Our workshops are a perfect way to both relax and develop internally. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve. Anyone can attend this meditation event; it is suitable for complete beginners and those with experience. Everyone is welcome.
You can attend this workshop in person at Buddha land Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Keighley or by online streaming.
The cost is £15 (£5 for Monthly Members).
