Meditations for Mindful Living
Buddha Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Keighley
Saturday 9 February, 10am – 1pm
Experience for yourself the natural inner peace and happiness that arise from a still mind. Meditation and mindfulness calm the mind, reduce stress and help us to develop a more positive approach to life.
In our modern society many of us feel that we have too much to do and not enough time. As a result we experience stress, anxiety, and fatigue. How can we cope with ever-increasing demands from all directions? Buddha’s teachings offer us an alternative—by learning to be mindful of our thoughts, we can develop a special experience of peace in the midst of busy life. Peace of mind is essential to keep our sanity day to day as well as for personal development, helping us realise our full potential.
Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of previous experience.
You may also be interested in the afternoon course, True Confidence and Self Esteem. There is a discounted price for people attending both events. The cost of the morning workshop is £12.50 (GP Centre Card £5) or combine it with the afternoon half day course, True Confidence and Self Esteem, for £18.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafe during the workshop. Why not also stay for homemade soup afterwards?>
