Meditations for Mindful Living
Meditation Workshop
Eccleshill Library, Bradford
Saturday 2 February, 9.30am – 12.30pm
Experience for yourself the natural inner peace and happiness that arise from a still mind. Meditation and mindfulness calm the mind, reduce stress and help us to develop a more positive approach to life.
In our modern society many of us feel that we have too much to do and not enough time. As a result we experience stress, anxiety, and fatigue. How can we cope with ever-increasing demands from all directions? Buddha’s teachings offer us an alternative—by learning to be mindful of our thoughts, we can develop a special experience of peace in the midst of busy life. Peace of mind is essential to keep our sanity day to day as well as for personal development, helping us realise our full potential.
Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of previous experience.
The cost of the workshop is £15 (GP Centre Card £5).

This course will be taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin the Resident Teacher of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre and of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley. He is a Buddhist monk with over 18 years’ experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism.
