Meditation for Joyful Living
Bread and Roses Co-working cafe, Bradford
Saturday 1 June, 10am – 1pm
Learn meditation and mindfulness techniques which will help you experience inner peace and let go of the sources of conflict and worry in your life.
In the fast pace of our working and personal lives our attention is easily scattered by endless distractions. Training in meditation gives us the power to overcome disturbing thoughts and to stay focused on what brings us happiness.
By learning meditations designed to help improve mindfulness, we can gain personal experience of how mindfulness can help us and enjoy the peace of mind it brings. We will also learn how to train in mindfulness in daily life.
Workshops are a perfect way to both relax and develop internally. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
Everyone is welcome to attend regardless of previous experience.
The cost of the workshop is £15 (GP Centre Card £5).
This course will be taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin the Resident Teacher of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre and of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley. He is a Buddhist monk with over 18 years’ experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism.
