Letting Go of Worry, Stress & Anxiety
Meditation Workshop
Eccleshill Library, Bradford
Saturday 9 March, 9.30am – 12.30pm
Worry, stress and anxiety are part of modern, fast paced life. By identifying their causes we can learn to reduce and abandon them. In this workshop explore special ways of thinking and meditations to heal your mind and achieve lasting happiness.
We tend to think that situations or people in our life are the causes of our stress or unhappiness, so spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to fix those situations or people. This often just makes our mind busier and increases our lack of peace. Buddha taught that in reality our unhappiness comes from our unpeaceful minds. By learning to overcome our unrealistic expectations of others and our exaggerated views of self, we can find lasting happiness and real peace of mind.
Anyone can attend this meditation event; it is suitable for complete beginners and those with experience. Everyone is welcome.
The cost of the workshop is £15 (GP Centre Card £5).
