How to Solve Our Human Problems
Buddha Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Keighley
Sunday 24 Feb, 10am-3.30pm
Solve your daily problems by gaining a correct understanding of their causes and discover innovative solutions from within.
We all have to deal with daily problems such as anxiety, depression, stress and various other negative minds. Buddha’s timeless teachings on the Four Noble truths are practical advice coming from Buddha’s wisdom that explain where our problems and suffering come from and how we can solve our problems permanently so that we can come to experience lasting peace of mind and happiness.
On retreat we step back from our normal activities to focus on solving our problems through meditation practice. During this retreat day we will explore meditations that enable us to access and maintain inner peace and joy, even when experiencing difficulties.
10am – 11.15am – Session 1 guided meditation
11.45am – 12.45pm – Session 2 guided meditation
2.15pm – 3.30pm – Session 3 guided meditation
4pm – 5pm – optional Session 4 (Heart Jewel with guided meditation)
This course will be taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin the Resident Teacher of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre and of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley. He is a Buddhist monk with over 18 years’ experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism.
