Begin the year with meditations for developing a happy and meaningful life. During the retreat we will explore meditations which will allow you to maintain a positive outlook in the year ahead.
Attend one or both days. £16 per day or £25 for both.
The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful. If our mind is peaceful we shall be free from worries and mental discomfort, and so we shall experience true happiness.”
This retreat will offer techniques for overcoming unpeaceful feelings such as stress, worry, anxiety, frustration and anger using training in meditation and mindfulness from modern Buddhism.
Two days of retreat that can be attended together or individually. Each day includes four guided sessions to improve our experience and mindfulness of meditations that lead to lasting peace of mind. £16 per day or £25 for both (Monthly Members £5 per day).
Lunch and refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafe during the day retreat.
10am – 11.15am – Session 1 guided meditation
11.45am – 12.45pm – Session 2 guided meditation
2.15pm – 3.30pm – Session 3 guided meditation
4pm – 5pm – optional Session 4 (Heart Jewel with guided meditation)

Buddha Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre has a raised ground floor cafe/shop and a first floor meditation room. Entrance to the ground floor is via 6 steps.
The centre is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am til 4pm (9.30am on Saturdays).
The Centre is situated on Keighley War Memorial Square between Abbey National and Speaks Work Wear. It is opposite Keighley Bus Station and the Airedale Centre.
It is 5min walk from Keighley Train Station.
Parking is readily available during the day either in the town centre car parks or in unrestricted street parking which starts about 5min walk away from the building. After 6pm and on Sundays town centre car parking is free. There are disabled parking bays oposite the building and alongside Abbey National.
