In these classes Gen Paljin gives teachings based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s latest book, Mirror of Dharma, with Additions. This book gives practical advice on how we can solve our daily problems of uncontrolled desire, anger and ignorance, and how to make our human life meaningful.

The classes are taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin, the Resident Teacher of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley, and of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre. He is a Buddhist monk with over 24 years’ experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism.

23 August – Meditation on universal compassion
30 August – Meditation on the supreme good heart bodhichitta
6 Sept – Meditation on our determination and promise to sincerely practice the six perfections

The series ‘The Mirror of Dharma’ run in person at Buddha Land Kadampa Meditation Centre, Keighley, at the following times:
- Tuesdays 7.30pm – 9pm
Buddha Land Kadampa Meditation Centre, 1 Lawkholme Cres, Keighley, West Yorkshire, BD21 3NR, UK.
Buddha Land Kadampa Meditation Centre has a raised ground floor café/shop and a first floor meditation room. Entrance to the ground floor is via 6 steps.
The centre is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am til 4pm (9.30am on Saturdays).
The Centre is situated on Keighley War Memorial Square between Abbey National and Speaks Work Wear. It is opposite Keighley Bus Station and the Airedale Centre.
It is a 5-minute walk from Keighley Railway Station.
Parking is readily available during the day either in the town centre car parks or in unrestricted street parking which starts about 5 minutes’ walk away from the building. After 6pm and on Sundays, town centre car parking is free. There are disabled parking bays oposite the building and alongside Abbey National.
The series ‘The Mirror of Dharma’ will run as livestream at the following times:

Livestreaming of classes will continue until 1 September 2022 after which Foundation Programme and Teacher Training Programme will be livestreamed but other classes will transition back to in-person only.
