Ask the Teacher
A question and answer session with Gen Kelsang Päljin
Livestreamed Online (in-person attendance by request)
Thursday 13 May 7 – 8pm
Do you have any unanswered questions about Buddhist practices, Buddhist philosophy, what’s in those glasses on the shrine, or why a Buddhist monk dresses like that?
From the sublime to the mundane, if you have any questions which aren’t answered during our weekly classes, and don’t quite fit into the context for you to feel it’s appropriate to ask them, now is your chance to find out the answers.
During these Q & A sessions, Gen Kelsang Päljin will provide us with answers to the questions we haven’t yet had a chance to ask. There are no restrictions on the topics – though we would expect them all to be related to Buddhism (not, say, the economy or current affairs).
If you are able to send your questions in advance, then that would be most appreciated, as it will help us to group the questions and answers as cohesively as possible, allowing Gen Päljin to provide as much elaboration and insight in his answers as time will allow. Please email your questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or see our Contact Us page for other ways of getting in touch.
Everyone’s questions are welcome! While the class will be based on questions sent in advance, Gen Päljin will also answer questions that arise during the session – as long as time permits.
These sessions are free.
These classes will be taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin, the Resident Teacher of Buddha Land Buddhist Centre, Keighley, and of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre. He is a Buddhist monk with over 22 years’ experience of practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism.
