The tradition of making water offerings has been practised since the time of Buddha. Learn this art and other offerings based on Shantideva’s Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life.
Our meditation courses are a perfect way to both relax and develop internally. This course is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced meditators.
Refreshments are available in our World Peace Café during the course.
The cost of the Meditation Half Day Course is £15 (Monthly Members £5, FP Monthly Members £0).

This course will be taught by Gen Kelsang Päljin, the Resident Teacher of Buddha Land Kadampa Meditation Centre, Keighley, and of Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre. He is a Buddhist monk with over 20 years’ experience of practising and teaching Buddhist meditation

Buddha Land Kadampa Meditation Centre has a raised ground floor cafe/shop and a first floor meditation room. Entrance to the ground floor is via 6 steps.
The centre is open Tuesday to Saturday 10am til 4pm (9.30am on Saturdays).
The Centre is situated on Keighley War Memorial Square between Abbey National and Speaks Work Wear. It is opposite Keighley Bus Station and the Airedale Centre.
It is 5min walk from Keighley Train Station.
Parking is readily available during the day either in the town centre car parks or in unrestricted street parking which starts about 5min walk away from the building. After 6pm and on Sundays town centre car parking is free. There are disabled parking bays oposite the building and alongside Abbey National.
