Buddha Amitayus is the Buddha of Long Life. By relying upon him and engaging in this ancient, ritual practice, we can increase our lifespan, wisdom and positive energy. We can also use this practice to remove obstacles that endanger the lives of others.
In this retreat, we make prayers to Buddha Amitayus for everyone, including our self, to enjoy a long life endowed with good fortune and great wisdom.
The retreat sessions on Saturday will be guided by Gen Päljin. Sunday sessions are unguided. Gen Kelsang Päljin is the Resident Teacher of Buddha Land KMC and Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centres. He is appreciated for offering clear guidance on meditation and living an exemplary, positive life.
