Living and Dying
Half Day Course
Buddha Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Keighley
Sunday 19 Feb, 10am-1pm
Coming to terms with the mortality of ourselves and our loved ones enriches our life and enables us to meet ageing and death with dignity, confidence and joy. We are often reluctant to talk about death and impermanence, but we do need to learn how to deal with death with acceptance, meaning and peace of mind.
On this course, using Buddha’s teachings, we will learn how to help others who are dying and how we can prepare for our own deaths calmly and positively with peace and confidence.
This course is suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced meditators.
Day Courses are an ideal way to learn more about meditation and inner peace. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
The cost of the day course is £12 (CM £5) .
