Experience the freedom of letting go on this half day workshop. Learn to let go of the painful emotions related to the past and find freedom from everyday feelings of frustration and dissatisfaction.
In this course we will learn techniques to help us to let go of the bad memories and habits we have developed, and clear the way for a more positive future. By contemplating Buddha’s teachings on impermanence we can loosen the hold that the past has over us and come to experience peaceful acceptance instead.
We often have trouble letting go of painful events in our past and this affects the way we respond to our current life situations. Through training in mindfulness and meditation we can identify the source of pain and then release it.
This course will include guided meditations, which will help you to develop a peaceful and positive mind. Day Courses are an ideal way to learn more about meditation and inner peace. They are ideal for those who are new to meditation and those who would like to improve.
The cost of the half day course is £12 (GP Centre Card £5). Refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafe during the course.

Burnley Kadampa Buddhist Centre has a ground floor cafe/shop and meditation room.
The centre is open on Wed and Sat 10am til 2pm. For Saturday morning courses the centre is open from 9.45am.
The Centre is located on Parker Street in the centre of Burnley close to Charter Walk Shopping Centre and the new Next store.
It is 5min walk from Burnley Central Train Station and 12min walk from Burnley Bus Station.
Parking is easily accessible in local car parks from 2 to 5 min walk away, while short stay on-street parking is available outside our door. On-street parking is unrestricted after 5pm.
