How to Solve Our Human Problems
Buddha Land Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Keighley
Sun 26 Feb, 10am-3.30pm
Solve your daily problems by gaining a correct understanding of their causes and discover innovative solutions from within.
When things go wrong in our life and we encounter difficult situations, we tend to regard the situation itself as our problem, but in reality whatever problems we experience are related to our mind. Problems arise only if we respond to difficulties with a negative state of mind.
In this course we will meditate in four sessions on practical methods for responding to difficult situations with a positive or peaceful mind, and so reduce our problems and frustration. Learning from Buddha’s first teachings we can develop our ability to increase patience and acceptance, and thereby reduce our anger, anxiety and suffering.
The cost of the day retreat is £16 (Centre Membership Scheme £5).
Lunch and refreshments are available in our World Peace Cafe during the day retreat.
10am – 11.15am – Session 1 guided meditation
11.45am – 12.45pm – Session 2 guided meditation
2.15pm – 3.30pm – Session 3 guided meditation
4pm – 5pm – optional Session 4 (Heart Jewel with guided meditation)
